More Information

Ring Joint Gaskets are used in a range of industrial processes. These gaskets form a seal between RTJ flanges by deforming under pressure. The surface of Rubber Coated Ring Joint Gaskets is much softer than that of the mating flanges, therefore providing excellent sealing while protecting the flange surfaces against damage.

Rubber Coated Ring Joint Gaskets typically comprise a steel core coated with oil-resistant nitrile rubber. These gaskets are commonly used in the pressure testing of blowout preventers (BOPs), Christmas tree valves, and other wellhead components.

Wide Range of Rubber Coated Ring Joint Gaskets

Rubber Coated Ring Joint Gaskets are available in a range of profiles to accommodate a variety of flange types, including Octagonal RTJs, Oval RTJs, BX RTJs, RX RTJs and IX RTJs.

Rubber Coated Ring Joint Gaskets are primarily used for testing purposes and should be replaced with the appropriate gaskets before the assembly is put to proper use.
